YONEX started to manufacture badminton racquets in 1957 and from since then, they have managed to revolutionize the badminton world.  Starting from their first badminton rackets which were made out of wood, they have developed many of the technologies we have seen today.  They introduced the T-joint, the first badminton rackets to weigh under 100g, and the isometric head.  YONEX has been the proud sponsor of the biggest badminton tournament, the ALL-ENGLAND Badminton tournament since 1984 and have been the partner of the Badminton World Federation which organizes the World Championships.
